In response to the CDC’s recommendations regarding the coronavirus, we’re making a few changes to how we operate over the next few weeks. Our goal is to do our part in reducing potential spread of the coronavirus by limiting traffic through our clinic.
1. If your pet has a current exam within the last year and established medical conditions, we may elect to use telemedicine for recheck examinations. These phone appointments will be scheduled and regular fees will apply and can be paid via credit card. `
2. If your pet has a new condition for which we need to see them in person, we’ll ask you call when you get to the parking lot and a technician will come collect your pet and communication with the veterinarian will be via phone call.
3. If you feel you need to be with your pet for the exam, please communicate directly with our office and we will do our best to accommodate you.
4. As medical supplies have in some cases been affected, please allow 7-10 days for medication refills.
5. If you are elderly or immunocompromised and need prescriptions, food or medical care for your pet but don’t feel safe leaving you home, please call us directly as we may be able to provide transport assistance.
If you already have an appointment scheduled, please call our office to determine if telemedicine may be appropriate or to make a plan for your visit.
Our patients’, clients’ and staffs’ health is our utmost concern and we hope these measures will help us continue to provide services in a safe manner.
